Logical Coaching reduces injuries by improving athletic skills. Coaches say, “Speed Wins” but spend most of their time and money on strength & conditioning. They try to increase “speed” with stationary weights or exercises, resistance, over distance and other “one size fits all” theories. These tools and methods develop “iron” strength and endurance but take years to increase speed because they’re not logical. i.e. The strongest weight lifters are never the best athletes because: Sports performance is requires speed, agility and other skills. It’s impossible to run faster without increasing stride length and frequency. Isometrics combined with our shoes and “speed” drills isolate, stretch, strengthen, condition and quicken every running muscle, ligament and tendon over and over in a constant “ripple” action. Never stretch cold muscles! They don’t stay stretched for injury prevention or maximum performance. “No pain, no gain” is true when preparing muscles for competition. It is not true for getting and keeping muscles in condition. To do isometrics simply isolate each upper and lower body muscle group and tighten one group at a time intensely for 30 to 60 seconds. Switch groups when it gets uncomfortable. Doing isometrics before, during and after stretching is the fastest way to get muscles in “world class” condition.
